I am a curious mind with over 10 years experience in technology. I’ve worked in large conglomerates, start-ups and as a freelancer. I have amounted a lot of experience over the years but my learning journey is on-going. Creating useful solutions has been my north star since I was a kid. Lead Software Engineer | Hyfen

• Architect and maintain 10+ Node and Frontend applications, shaping the company’s technical landscape across React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Vite.
• Contributed to and maintained existing Java Backend Applications
• Designed and built multiple key products from scratch, including TextBuddy.nl, where I co-architected the platform with the CTO and led all frontend implementation.
• Defined the architectural standards for all frontend applications, covering frameworks, style guides, package management, CI/CD, and backend integration practices.
• Introduced and championed AI-assisted (agentic) development across the team, evaluating tools like Cursor, Claude Code, Co-pilot and developing shared configurations to standardize usage.
• Founded and led the internal “Frontend & Node Guild,” a weekly meetup for developers to discuss architecture, integrations, new technologies, and industry trends.
• Mentored junior engineers to medior level through consistent pair programming and coaching, while maintaining full delivery responsibilities.
• Optimized Node configurations, reducing cloud resource usage and saving €1,000+ per month.
